Chapter Activities

Covid 19 kept us from being together in person, but we were together virtually. Our November 2020 virtual chapter meeting was a first for us, but we had a good time. It was great just seeing each other's images on the screen.

Mrs. Santa Claus (AKA Chapter President Judy Withers) made a surprise visit at the chapter Christmas luncheon. Everyone had been good because she had gifts for all.

Joseph Underwood Chapter members delivered toys collected at their 2015 Christmas luncheon to Houston City Fire Station 101. Shown with two local heroes holding just a few of the toys are L to R: chapter member and Honorary State President Marilyn Evans; Mrs. Santa Claus (aka Chapter President Judy Withers); chapter member Connie Zoch; and prospective member Rita Hanson. The toys will benefit the Toys for Tots project.

Joseph Underwood Chapter observed Colonial Heritage Month with a display at Kingwood Library and by reading a proclamation signed by Humble Mayor Merle Aaron. Shown L to R are Chapter Vice President Nancy Jo Derby; Honorary State President and Chapter Colonial Heritage Chair Marilyn Evans, and Chapter President Judy Withers.

Our chapter's display at Kingwood Library to commemorate Colonial Heritage Month.
